Video to DVD Transfer: Video to DVD transfer is a tricky process. In most cases, consumers do not have the resources to capture analog video and convert it to digital video which is then used for the video to DVD transfer. For the most part, it is cost effective to choose a reputable video to DVD transfer service rather than to suffer the frustration of trying to save your family memories and ending up with a bunch of shiny DVD coasters instead of professional DVDs. When looking for a video to DVD transfer service, you should first check on comments from customers. It is likely that not all customers will choose to leave comments, but it should give you a good idea of customer satisfaction for the video to DVD transfer service.
Once you've chosen a video to DVD transfer service, make sure that you clearly mark your tapes with titles and package them in such a way that they will not be damaged when shipping. USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation is usually a great way to ship your tapes to the video to DVD transfer service, as the post office will give you free heavy-duty cardboard boxes for your shipment. Also include a note with what services you want completed, how many DVDs should be made of each original tape, and any other relevant information.
